Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after signing an Executive Order Regarding Respect and Civility in the Workplace:

 

“Granite Staters have always taken great pride in the care and concern we show for those within our communities,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “This Executive Order marks a significant step forward for ensuring that our state employees are afforded the respect they rightfully deserve in the workplace.”

Charlie Arlinghaus, Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services, said:

 

“There is nothing more important than the respect and professionalism with which we treat both our colleagues and our customers. Treating our fellow employees in a civil manner is simply common sense, and today’s Executive Order is a huge step forward for New Hampshire.”

 

The Department of Administrative Services will provide guidance to state agencies in implementing the Executive Order.
